Items may occasionally need to be returned or exchanged, so we include a return label with your invoice for your use. You may also download a return label here. We ask that you print and fill out the return form to include with your shipment. This helps us to understand the reason for the return so that we may improve our service to you and everyone else. No quibbling here at Bona Fide - we want satisfied customers.
• If the item is defective, please contact us to discuss returning it and we will reimburse you including your return shipping cost. We occasionally will ask that damage be verified by sending a photo via email.
• If the item is not defective but you decide that you do not want it for whatever reason, you may still return the item. We will reimburse you for the cost of the item; however the return shipping cost will be your responsibility. The item must be unused and in its original packaging (if it had any).
• If you need to exchange the item because of incorrect size, color, etc., you may return it using the label and return form and wait for the exchanged item, or if you need the item sooner, call us so that we may immediately send your requested item. This requires that we charge you for the new item until we receive the exchange, after which we will reimburse you. You are be responsible for the shipping charges.
• You may also drop the item off at our store if you happen to be near Concord, NH. We could always use a break and a have nice chat about the weather!
For smaller items, USPS generally has lower prices, while UPS and others tend to be higher priced.
Our general policy states if a product is returned or exchanged due to a defect or it did not perform properly with normal use, then the return shipping cost is on us. We try hard to accurately represent products with regard to sizing, colors, performance, and other details. We ask you to double check that your order is correct with regard to its special features and details. Otherwise, shipping costs for returns and exchanges are considered the customer's responsibility.
Please allow 7-14 business days for completing returns or exchanges. Shipping times vary greatly, as does reimbursement processing. Credit card credits typically take an additional billing cycle despite Bona Fide's immediate processing.
If you have received the item as a gift, you may exchange it if the color or size is not correct. Otherwise, you may return the items and receive a gift certificate for the original amount less the original shipping costs.
International exchanges and returns may be considered but not guaranteed, except for defects or breakage. We try to be flexible with regard to overseas orders. Please contact us with your inquiries about returns or exchanges from outside the US.
