do you have a catalog?

No, we do not have a catalog. Bona Fide, an environmentally conscious business, opened its doors in the 21st century: the age of computers. We consider catalogs to be the dinosaurs of the 20th century, only necessary when the Wild West was being settled. Energy and natural resources are at a premium in our modern day society, so we cannot in good conscience produce a catalog. Even catalogs composed of 100% post-consumer paper generate a large carbon footprint during production and distribution.

what's the "no catalog pledge"?

Bona Fide has taken the "no catalog pledge". This means that we will never produce a catalog and we make every attempt to reduce the number of catalogs we receive. The computer is the future - we hope it's yours, too.

do you have a storefront?

Yes. In addition to online shopping, Bona Fide has a retail store on South Main Street in Concord, New Hampshire. The storefront is just as much an educational experience as it is a shopping experience: customers can see, touch, smell, and learn in-depth about all of our wonderful eco-product offerings. The store is also a place for us to listen, discuss, and get viable feedback from our customers. The Bona Fide storefront serves as a meeting location for the local community and for various events, workshops, and other educational opportunities.

what's your return policy?

It's pretty easy and consumer-friendly. You can find out more about Bona Fide's policy on the guarantees and returns page.

can I change or cancel my order?

We can try! The sooner you send us an email, the greater the chances are that we can cancel or tweak your order. If you are adding items to your order, it's best if you give us a call - additional charges will need to be processed before your order goes out.

do you provide service for international shipping?

International shipping services depend on the country and the products. Check our shipping policies for more details and feel free to email us with specific questions.

how do i redeem a coupon/promotional code when purchasing on bonafidegreengoods.com?

Simply enter the code into the appropriate box on the point of purchase page.

what happened to my order?

Immediately after placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation (sent to the email address you submitted). A few days after you placed your order, you will receive an update with a tracking number. If you have not received any notifications, please contact us at service@bonafidegreengoods.com as soon as possible so we may track your order for you.

do you ship to APO addresses?

We sure try to! However, if what you wish to purchase is a drop-ship item from Canada, we will not be able to fulfill the order since all items must originate from the USA.

do you do back orders?

No, we do not. If a product is out of stock, we ask that you check the website for updates or send us an email. We'll do our best to let you know when we're expecting another shipment.

do you charge a sales tax?

No, we do not. Bona Fide is based out of New Hampshire which does not have a sales tax. Lucky you! However, customers might be responsible for their own sales tax.

is your website secure?

do you give out my personal information?

Bona Fide will never, ever, ever give out or sell your private information. We promise.

what if my product has been recalled?

We will post recalls on an as-needed basis. At the moment, we are not aware of any product recalls.

can i call and place an order?

Yes, by all means. Please check our store's open hours.

why do you have products from china?

Bona Fide carries products from all over the world, including China. While many of our products are sourced locally or are made in the USA, some basic products that help consumers reduce, reuse, recycle, and make a positive environmental impact are made overseas. In fact, many basic household products are simply no longer made in the USA. For instance, nearly all stainless steel is produced in Asia. We expect all of our overseas suppliers to uphold basic human rights and good working conditions. Please see our four footprints for more information about our criteria for social responsibility. One of the few exceptions is light bulbs. Most light bulbs are made overseas at multiple manufacturing plants, so it is nearly impossible to track the life cycle of these products. Because of the importance of energy reduction through lower wattage bulbs, Bona Fide allows this particular product less scrutiny.

can i buy Bona Fide e-gift certificates?

Yes, bonafidegreengoods.com allows customers to purchase and/or redeem gift certificate funds. Simply log in and create an account or give us a call.

can I send you a check?

Yes, by all means. Some people prefer to pay with a check. Please send us the details of your order and your contact information, including your phone number. Once the check has cleared, your order will be on its way.

do you do bulk orders?

Sometimes. It depends upon the product (and if you happen to catch us in a good mood!)

how do you choose your products?

Bona Fide chooses its products based on the 3 R's: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. The idea is that the product has to help the consumer with the 3 R's or the product has inherent properties that include the 3 R's. After that, we try to balance our offerings with cool fun stuff that meets our eco-criteria.
